There have been some important and far-reaching developments for British architects interested in the architecture industry in the US over the last year. These include material progress on reciprocal professional recognition, a goal that had proved elusive until the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. This is now on the horizon, thanks to the assiduous leadership of RIBA USA President Catherine Clark and the coalition she’s assembled to see this to a successful conclusion.
We also have new Board members, expanding Chapters, member spotlights, and an exciting Summer lineup of events, both online and physical. This free online ‘Ask Me Anything’ kicks off this season of events by giving the community the chance to quiz Board members about reciprocity, working in the US, Harry and Meghan’s westward relocation, and anything else of interest.
